Zannah Kimbrel holds an M.A. in Religious Studies from UNC Charlotte and a B.A. in the same from UNC Chapel Hill. Additionally, Zannah has a certificate in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies. Their academic interests include feminist, queer, disability, and trans theories, and how they apply to the study of religion, generally, and Judaism, specifically. They also focus on Second Temple and Late Antiquities, rabbinic and other Jewish legal literature, Jewish mysticism and mystical texts, and the Hebrew language.
